The 4-Wheel Drive Nissan Titan Race Truck
Prepared by Carl Renezeder's top-flight racing team, the new race truck offers a number of unique features - most notably the adoption of a manual transmission, versus the automatic transmission regularly utilized in this class. "The five-speed manual transmission is more robust than the automatic, and also takes less horsepower away from the driveline," said Renezeder.
The new Nissan Titan race truck is powered by a proven Nissan Motorsports Endurance V8 engine with 715 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. The 4,100-pound racing vehicle rides on a long 116-inch wheelbase, with 18 inches of front wheel travel and 20 inches of rear wheel travel.

Once the new Titan racer was completed, it was extensively tested, with impressive results. "Out of the box the new Titan felt competitive, and the lap times in our test sessions supported that," said Renezeder. "No doubt there will be some 'teething' issues with this new truck, as with any new program, but I have total confidence in my team and the direction we're going."
