What’s CORR(Championship Off Road Racing)?

Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) combines close, fender-to-fender racing on challenging closed course dirt tracks in the Midwest and Southern California. Now in its 9th season, CORR is arguably the largest and most watched off-road racing series in North America. An event weekend is defined as two consecutive rounds of racing held at the same facility and 2006 season was comprised by 16 rounds.

SPEED is the television home of Championship Off Road Racing, covering over 84 hours of racing action from the Lucas Oil Pro and Sportsman Series.  The SPEED network is in nearly 70 million homes, covering nearly 60% of the U.S. (A.C. Nielsen Media, September 2004).  This delivers a tremendous amount of coverage for racers and sponsors alike.

CORR has two type of series which are Pro and Sportsman. Pro series which Nissan has been competing is comprised with three classes which are Pro4, Pro2 and Pro Lite. The following makes are considered eligible and approved for competition in CORR events. (All pick up trucks) Chevrolet, Toyota, Mazda, Jeep, Ford, Dodge and Nissan.
Pro-4
Vehicles built or manufactured as a full size four (4) wheel driven type utility vehicle, capable of being driven through the front wheels. Vehicle must be a standard manufacturer production model available to the general public in the U.S.A. Vehicle style must have a manufacturer production of five thousand (5,000). Manufacturer body styles, engines and chassis must all be from the same.

Pro-2
Full size trucks built or manufactured as a full size two- (2) wheel drive type utility vehicle Standardized CORR chassis. Vehicle must be a standard manufacturer production model available to the general public in the U.S.A. Vehicle style must have a manufacturer production of five thousand (5,000). Manufacturer body styles and engines must all be from same manufacturer.

Pro-Lite
Vehicles built or manufactured as a two-wheel drive light duty pickup truck standardized CORR chassis. Vehicle style must have a manufacturer production of 5,000.
